FAQs

General Questions

What type of wax do you use?

I use both soy wax and jelly wax. Soy wax is a natural wax that is made from soybeans. It is a clean-burning wax that has a long scent throw. Jelly wax is a mineral oil based wax that is known for its beautiful clarity and ability to hold fragrance. I also use a combination of jelly wax and soy wax in one of my candles to create a unique look and scent experience.

How are your candles scented?

I use a variety of high-quality fragrance oils to scent my candles. I do not use any artificial fragrances or dyes.

How long do your candles last?

The burn time of my candles varies depending on the size and type of candle. My 8oz candles typically burn for 40-50 hours. My 2oz sample packs typically burn for 5-6 hours. The candle that is made with jelly and wax typically burns for 20-25 hours.

How do I care for my candles?

To ensure the best possible burn, trim your wick to ¼ inch before each use. Keep your candle away from drafts and vents. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface.

What is the difference between jelly and soy candles?

Jelly candles and soy candles are both popular types of candles that offer different benefits and drawbacks. Here is a table summarizing the key differences between the two:

Jelly candles are made from mineral oil based wax, which gives them a clear and transparent appearance. They typically have a lighter scent throw than soy candles and a shorter burn time. Jelly candles are also not as environmentally friendly as soy candles, as they contain petroleum products.

Soy candles are made from natural wax made from soybeans. They have an opaque and creamy appearance and a stronger scent throw than jelly candles. Soy candles also have a longer burn time and are more environmentally friendly than jelly candles.

Ultimately, the best type of candle for you will depend on your individual preferences. If you are looking for a candle with a clear appearance and a light scent throw, then a jelly candle may be a good choice for you. If you are looking for a candle with a strong scent throw and a long burn time, then a soy candle may be a better choice for you.

Wax Melt Questions

What are wax melts?

Wax melts are small pieces of wax that are scented and melted in a warmer to release their fragrance.

How do I use wax melts?

To use wax melts, simply place a few cubes of wax in a wax warmer and turn it on. The wax will melt and release its fragrance into the air.

How long do wax melts last?

The burn time of wax melts varies depending on the size of the warmer and the amount of wax used. Each wax melt cube typically burns for 6-8 hours.

How do I clean my wax melt warmer from your wax?

Jelly Wax Melts

  • Cleaning: To clean jelly wax melts from your warmer, let the wax cool and harden completely. Then, simply pop out the hardened wax with your finger or a spoon.

Soy Wax Melts

  • Cleaning: Soy wax melts may require a bit more effort to clean, as they have a tendency to cling to the warmer. Once the wax has cooled and hardened, use a paper towel or a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to remove any remaining wax residue.
